The project involved removing the existing 1970s-era steam distribution system and installing approximately 1,000 linear feet of new underground steam distribution between Vaults H10 and H30. The steam system was relocated from the existing crawlspace in Alumni Hall, with additional service upgrades provided to Frank Dining Hall and Drake Hall. This work was closely coordinated with the Peter’s Glen Project, which significantly transforms the wooded hillside area between Dana Arts Center, Frank Dining Hall, and Case-Geyer Library. Outside the Peter’s Glen Project limits, the scope included pavement and sidewalk improvements, along with the installation of a motorized vehicular gate to control access to the Quad.
