Scott is a 2000 graduate of Corning Community College where he received an Associate degree (AAS) in Computer Graphics Technology (CAD/CAM). Scott joined the firm in May of 2003.
Scott has served as the principal designer on numerous district steam, district chilled water, site, and site utility projects. He has prepared a campus-wide closed-circuit television (CCTV) mapping project and has been a section leader in the design of approximately 5,000 feet of primary ductbanks, 6,000 feet of telecom ductbanks, 8,500 feet of steam, and 4,500 feet of chilled water.
Scott has brought his knowledge of CAD to various areas of the firm including steam, HVAC, and electrical projects. He retains the site utility maps and performs routine updates for several large clients. After the updating process is completed, he develops a layered PDF map which assists University faculty and staff in utilizing site feature and utility information in a simplified easy to use format.
Scott is a leader in the civil GPS-based surveying equipment and field-collected data. The GPS locating equipment is used to provide accurate location and elevation data which will be integrated into future updates to the campus maps.
