This project involved the installation of a 300,000 lb/hr capacity boiler feedwater deaerator within an existing central steam heating plant. The scope included replacement of process piping and the sequential upgrade of three 75-horsepower boiler feedwater pumps.

To ensure uninterrupted steam production and service—critical for supporting hospitals and university research facilities—temporary mechanical and structural provisions were implemented throughout the phased upgrade process, allowing the central plant to maintain continuous operation during construction.
